Congratulations to Genova Sanchez, a senior at Buena Vista, on an outstanding accomplishment this season!

Genova has been named TSMCA 1st Team All-Region and TABC 1A All-Region, a testament to her hard work, leadership, and dedication on the court. Throughout her career, Genova has represented the Buena Vista Longhorns with pride, determination, and excellence. Her commitment to the game and her teammates has helped set a high standard for the Longhorn program.

The entire Longhorn community is proud of her achievements and celebrates this well-deserved recognition!!

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Golf team on placing 2nd at the Rankin Golf Invitational! Way to represent!

Spring Break is over, and school is back in session!

We can’t wait to see our students tomorrow and kick off another great week at Buena Vista!

At the Reagan County JV Tennis Tournament, several athletes delivered championship performances, helping lead the Longhorns to the overall team title. In boys singles, Luke Fierro captured the championship with a strong performance throughout the tournament. The boys doubles title was claimed by Gio Colunga and Froyd Malagon, who worked well together to secure the victory. In girls doubles, Genova Sanchez and Andrea Garcia won the championship after an impressive run through their bracket. The mixed doubles division was won by Wyatt Ivey and Diamond Salazar, whose strong teamwork and consistency earned them the title. Their outstanding performances helped the Longhorns secure the overall tournament championship.

Congratulations to Genova on being selected to the Texas Six-Man Coaches Association All-Star Game this summer in Wichita Falls!! Way to represent Buena Vista!

Buena Vista wrapped up the State Team Tennis Tournament with a strong 2-2 record and a Southwest Bracket Championship. A great way to celebrate—Happy Birthday, Coach Martinez! State Team Tennis results Day 1 Lost vs Sonora 2-7 Beat San Saba 7-4 Lost vs Fort Hancock 4-7 Day 2 Beat Sterling City 7-2 Overall 2-2 and southwest bracket winners.

Cheer Tryouts will be held on March 18th at JH at 4:00 PM and at HS at 6:00 PM!

There will be a mandatory parent meeting on March 4th at 5:30 PM for anyone planning to try out.

Congrats to the cast and performers at today's One Act Play! Eli and Cody made All-Star Cast; Jordyn, Jaci, and Robi were selected for Honorable Mention All-Star Cast.

Buena Vista ISD will host a Dual Credit Student & Parent Meeting on Wednesday, March 4th, at 6:00 PM in the Media Center.

This meeting is for current 9th and 10th-grade students interested in getting ahead through dual credit courses or earning certifications such as CNA or Office Systems. Parents and students are encouraged to attend to learn about opportunities, expectations, and how to begin planning for the future.
