The Floral Design students have created a showstopper! They designed an oversized Texas mum that’s now hanging on the staircase—it’s HUGE and absolutely stunning! The class also has mums available for purchase for $80 each. 📍Mums will be available at the school tomorrow from 3–4 pm. Come support our talented Floral Design students and take home a mum of your own!

Our 4th graders have completed their ‘Eureka Student Inventor’ unit and proudly received their certificates! After learning about famous inventors like Thomas Edison, Hedy Lamarr, and George Washington Carver, they created their very own inventor cards to showcase their creativity and ideas!

Homecoming Parade is Wednesday at 7 p.m.!

If you’d like to have a float in the Homecoming Parade, please pick up a form from the front office and return it to Mrs. Gass by Wednesday at noon.

Decades Day was a hit! 🎉 These students and staff brought the retro vibes to Buena Vista with their bright colors, fun accessories, and throwback style. Thanks for making the day so much fun!

Buena Vista first graders had a special visit from Dr. Acosta from Pecos County Memorial Hospital! 🩺 They’ve been learning all about the human body in reading, so they were thrilled to meet a real doctor and put their learning into action!

Step Back in Time, Longhorns! Tomorrow’s pep rally theme is Decade Day! Pick your favorite decade—50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, or 2000s—and dress the part! From poodle skirts to bell bottoms, neon vibes to Y2K looks, let’s see which decade takes over the gym! 📅 Date: Thursday, September 19th 🕒 Time: 3:10 PM 📍 Location: Gym (Visitors, please park by the tennis courts and enter through the side doors) Let’s fill the gym with throwback style and school spirit!
