Buena Vista ISD

Buena Vista ISD is excited to share we have new buses coming this August for our routes. These buses will serve the Coyanosa, Fort Stockton and Odessa routes. They are air conditioned and have connectivity for charging students learning devices. The buses were approved and made possible by the voters in the 2022 bond.

We wrapped up Day 2 of Summer Surge yesterday, and it was out of this world! All of our activities revolved around space and the planets. 🔭🪐🚀

Thank you for attending the final walkthrough at Buena Vista ISD. So many memories were shared, along with smiles, hugs, and laughter. It was a beautiful way to honor the past and celebrate the future.

Summer Surge started today with a bang! 🌴We welcomed 30 kids between 3 and 12 years old. Our farm theme was a hit, as we incorporated farm animals and farming into math, reading, and crafts. 🐔🚜🐷

Big news, Longhorn Nation! 📣 We're thrilled to welcome Jasmine Garcia as our new assistant coach and Teacher and her husband Jacob Garcia as our Special Ed Teacher! 🍎 They both bring incredible experience from Marathon ISD. Due to our gyms and balls not being put up after being used and things going missing. We are now shutting our gyms and weight room down unless a coach or school staff member are monitoring. Gyms will be open starting next week for summer workouts and once a week for open gym.

To celebrate mastering their sight words (50%-100%), our Pre-K through 1st graders enjoyed an end-of-year movie trip in Fort Stockton!
