Summer strength and conditioning workouts will begin June 7th, Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-10:30am. Workouts will consist of weight training, conditioning, and sport specific drills. Athletes can enter through the side doors of the gym.

BVISD Summer Employment: Are you interested in summer employment at BVISD? BVISD is seeking reliable students who are willing to work full-time. UIL STATE AWARDS have finally arrived for our Spelling Team, SUPER JOB!!

BVISD Technology Return: It is that time of the year where all BVISD Technology (chrome books, chargers, hotspots....)issued to your child must be turned back in to Coach JB by Thursday (5/27) at 10:00 a.m. Invoices will be mailed upon return for damaged devices. On Friday (5/21), Cactus Health Services will be on site at BVISD to do pre-participation physical evaluations on student athletes. The cost is $10.00. All student athletes in grades 7-12 must have a current evaluation to participate in any UIL sport. All student athletes in 7th, 9th, or 11th grade during the 2021-22 school year MUST get an evaluation. Any participant in athletics , who was in 7th, 9th, or 11th grades, during the 2020-21 school year AND did not complete a Pre-Participation Physical Examination for the 2020-21 school year, will be required to complete the Medical History Form as well as a Pre-Physical Evaluation form prior to participation in any UIL practices, games, performances, or matches for the 2021-22 school year. These forms, along with the Steroid Agreement, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness, and the Concussion Acknowledgement forms must be filled out and on file at the school. FDA has given approval for everyone 12 years of age and older to receive the Pfizer COVID -19.
Pecos County Memorial Hospital (PCMH) is in the process of securing vaccine for ages 12-15 years old but we need an idea of how many parents are interested in getting their child vaccinated.
If you are interested, please call PCMH at 432-336-4230 to get your child’s name on the list.
PCMH will make announcements through social media and BVISD when PCMH has received the vaccine, with instructions on getting your child vaccinated.
