BVISD Did You Know: Hand-washing/Sanitizing - Students and staff will be required to use hand sanitizer when entering a bus, building, classroom, and/or office. Frequent hand-washing and sanitizing will also be incorporated in the daily schedules. All BVISD buildings will be provided with hand sanitation stations. BVISD Did You Know: At this time students & staff will not be required to wear masks. Schools are expected to comply with the Governor’s Executive Order No. GA-36 related to wearing masks. Per GA-36, school systems cannot require students or staff to wear a mask.
School systems must allow individuals to wear a mask if they choose to do so. If an individual chooses to wear a face covering, the mask must be compliant with BVISD Dress Code. If students are experiencing illness symptoms, we encourage the use of masks to minimize the possible spread of germs.
Don’t forget, Monday (8/2) at 8:00am we start practice for Hs Football and Volleyball. Make sure you show up 15-30 mins early if you need equipment issued to you. Come in ready to work and let’s make this a great year.
Come out tomorrow (7/30) at 10:30am in the gym to watch the mini cheerleaders demonstrate what they learned this past week at cheer camp.

Reminder!!! Mini Cheer Camp will be next week Mon.-Fri. (7/26th-30th) from 9am-12 in the gym. If you haven’t registered already, you can do so at the door on Mon. The cost is $45. We are looking forward to a great week of camp!
The open gym for workouts will be closed Monday (7/19) & Tuesday (7/20) and will resume Wednesday (7/21).
BVISD Update: Hoping everyone is have a great summer! The instructional setting that will be used for the 2021-2022 school year will be In-Person Instruction; students must attend school daily for face to face in-person instruction. At this time BVISD is not planning to offer virtual instruction.

The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER III) will provide over $545,332 to the Buena Vista ISD over the next three years. In order to access the funds, BVISD must submit a plan for use of the funds to the Texas Education Agency with our grant application.
The Buena Vista ISD is seeking input from stakeholders across our community as we develop our plan. Your feedback and input are incredibly valuable and will help inform our plan.
