This evening, we were made aware of a Snapchat post of a threat to the 432 area code. No specific threat was made to the school. However, we will be taking extra precautions so that safety is our main priority.
We will have extra security at the school tomorrow as a precautionary measure.
We are committed to addressing any potential concerns and maintaining a secure environment for all students and staff. Rest assured, we are taking all necessary measures to keep our community safe.
With the ongoing concerns regarding a social media post, safety is our first regard. We want to be proactive rather than reactive. Therefore, we will be closing campus for lunch tomorrow and possibly the remainder of the week.
We will be Lining up the homecoming parade at the practice field on Thursday. Starting at 7:00 pm. Here is the map. Once we get to the park all spectators must stay in the baseball field area. Only Seniors and sponsors will be able to go past the outfield gate towards the bonfire.
It's Homecoming week Longhorns lots of fun and memories to be made this week. Homecoming Pep Rally will be at 8:10 AM Friday. Hope to see everyone all week supporting your Longhorns!
