The Mini Cheerleaders had a great time at camp this past week at BV. They learned new cheers and dances from the HS cheer team and then performed for the community earlier today. Good job Mrs P, HS Cheer Team, and all the awesome Mini Cheerleaders. Hook ‘em Horns.

BV is proud to recognize the HS cheerleaders. They attended camp this past week at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine. They learned many new cheers and dances and they competed against other schools. They placed second overall in their division. Congratulations girls.
Thurs, 7/25, BVISD will be taking student athletes to Rankin for physicals. All incoming 7th, 9th, and 11th graders that wish to play sports must get a physical. The cost is $20. The bus will depart from school at 9am. Physical forms can be found on the UIL website.
HS Volleyball practice will begin Aug. 1st. Attached is a HS and JH Volleyball schedule.
BV is hosting a Volleyball camp for incoming 7-12 graders on July 29th-31st. Please see attachment for details.
Gym facilities will be closed on Mon, July 22nd and Tues, July 23rd to comply with UIL rules. It will resume open on Wed. Thanks
High school football practice will begin at 8:00am on Aug. 5th. Attached is a 2019 Football Schedule for HS and JH.
Cross Country workouts have started. They are held Mon-Fri at 8:00am for JH and HS. Mandatory practices for HS will begin Aug 5th. First HS meet is Aug 17th in Pecos. Attached is a Cross Country schedule.

The gym will be open from 5:00-7:00 today and again tomorrow from 9:00-11:00 and 5:00-7:00. It will then be closed until Monday, 7-15.
The gym will close at 11 am on July 4th and open agin on Monday at normal hours. It will then be closed from July 9th-July 14th. Not many days left until we start a new season. Winning begins in the weight room. Keep Grinding.
