BVISD Temporary Closure: per Governor Abbott remote & distance learning are still required. Plans for that were communicated earlier are not cancelled and will go on as announced.
BVISD Temporary Closure: Gov. Greg Abbott announced today that he has issued an executive order which is effective at midnight Friday, March 20, through midnight Friday, April 3 (and subject to extension) that requires all Texas schools to temporarily close.
We will continue with instruction with the use of high tech. and low tech. The majority of our 4th-12th grade teachers have created google classrooms. Students, if you have not been invited to a google classroom, then a packet is available for pick up. All PK-3rd, have packets.

The UIL has updated their information in regards to suspending events to now include the suspension of all practices, rehearsals, or workouts outside the school day until March 29th. This includes track and field, tennis, cheerleading, and one act play. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact Coach P.
All JH & HS cheerleading events including practices, tryouts, and parent meetings have been postponed until further notice. Contact Ms. Hamilton or Mrs. P if you have any questions or concerns.
At this time, there will not be any practices for tennis or track this week, 3/16-3/20. All sport facilities to include new and old tennis courts, football field and track, practice field, as well as gyms and weight room will be closed until further notice. All UIL sporting events have been canceled until March 29th at which time our situation will be reevaluated.
