VIRTUAL SCHOOL SET to BEGIN: BVISD will be back in session Virtually Tuesday & Wednesday (11/3-4) for all students; there will be NO face to face instruction on Tuesday & Wednesday. The HS football game with Marfa has been rescheduled to Monday 11/2 in Marfa at 6:00. The JH FB game with Fort Davis is still scheduled at Fort Davis on Thursday 11/5 at 5:30 but the HS FB game with Fort Davis will now be played on Saturday 11/7 at 12:00 in Imperial.

The Area round of playoffs for the Lady Longhorn VB team will be played Tues. 11/3 at 6:00 at Big Spring against Aspermont. The tickets that were issued for the Bi-district game against Sierra Blanca will get you into the Area round game on Tues. against Aspermont. Ticket prices at the gate will be $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students. Make sure you wear your mask, social distance, and follow all guidelines. Good Luck Lady Longhorns.

Marfa is requiring spectators at the football game on Fri. 10/30 to enter with a ticket. HS football players and cheerleaders will be given a set amount of tickets to distribute at their will. A limited amount of tickets can be picked up at the front office of the school.

The Bi-district VB game against Sierra Blanca at Pecos tonight has been canceled. The Lady Longhorns will advance to the next round to take on Aspermont. Details of that game will follow.

Delayed Start Information: Doors to the school will open at 9:45 a.m. for student entry and students will report to their regular 10:00 a.m. period class. Bus departures & pick-up are as follows: Coyanosa pick-up will begin at 8:45 a. m. Departures: Ft. Stockton-9:05 a.m. & Odessa-8:55 a.m. Remember that breakfast will not be served.

Due to expected overnight freezing temperatures, we believe this will make for early morning hazardous road conditions. BVISD will have a delayed start at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2020. All bus routes will run two hours behind regular scheduled times; no breakfast will be served. Stay tuned to our school app., school website, & school Facebook page for the latest information regarding school closings or delays.

Odessa Bus Route will not be running today (Tuesday) due winter weather. Students will be required to log on and attend school virtually. All other bus routes will run on regular schedule at this time.
