Dear Parents & Student Athletes,
Buena Vista ISD has been notified that an individual who attended summer strength and conditioning on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Buena Vista ISD has tested positive for COVID-19.
Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families, all summer workouts & conditioning will be suspended until further notice; our staff will self-isolate. All buildings will be deeply sanitized prior to reopening.
Buena Vista ISD continues to be in contact with our local health care providers and county officials to ensure the health and safety of all our students, families, and staff. Out of an abundance of caution, we advise you to monitor your health, follow the CDC guidelines for people who have had close contact and contact your primary care physician if you develop symptoms.
Buena Vista ISD will continue to monitor this situation and will provide additional information as needed. We hope for a successful recovery for our Buena Vista ISD student.
